15.09.2018: Faversham, England

Casey and I slept in today... Keith was not having it when we woke up and said no naps haha! They fed and coffee'd us and we got on our way to Faversham, which is a super quaint town where there was a street market that we wandered through. We took a highway there that was built by the Romans, and passed through many small towns in the short drive we had to get there.

They also took us back to the church in Milsted and we got to go up the bell tower, which was incredibly steep winding stone steps up on to the roof! Pictures/ video to come of that, I'm just too tired to add them tonight.

Turns out antique olive soap does not smell great.

At the street market in Faversham

The medieval church spire in Faversham. There was a wedding or something of
the sort going on there today so we couldn't get through.

Court Street turned into Abbey Street, and it is one of the oldest medieval streets in the area
and all of the architecture is protected and maintained.

The "creek" they call it where the ships come in. The tide was out so all the boats and ships were sitting
in the mud.

Stopping for lunch!

An original door from the time the house was built.

A house built from an old water tower. It's been on many different television
programs for its architecture.

They kept their promise and took us in the Milsted Church!

Some modern takes on stained glass

The organ.

Bibles from the 1700s

The vessel where children are baptized.

The sheep that Keith has in his orchard to keep the grass down. Note their long tails... not
show sheep he explained so they don't dock them.

Keith with his fruit picking basket. These things could be sold for quite a bit
if they wanted to, as they're handmade.

Snoops.

Delicious plums!

Lena and Courtnie picking plums... not until Casey and I both took a bite did they
tell us to make sure we had a good one because there can sometimes be maggots.
Luckily neither of us got one of those!
In the Jordan's garden before going to a neighbour's for a Mediterranean Barbeque.
