20-21.09.2018: Bath, England

Sorry for the delay in posting the blog, we have had terrible internet at our Air B&B, so this blog will cover our two days here in Bath, England! The two main attractions in Bath, besides the Georgian architecture, are the Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths, that are heated by a natural hot spring! At the end of the tour, they had the hot spring water available to taste, and it wasn't great. A lot of metal in that stuff!

We did a lot of walking up some very steep streets (as well as a little driving... yikes), and had a little game of mini golf (Court lost). Some really great food was also had!

Courtnie and I enjoy looking at churches so there will probably often be church photos in our posts!

The Roman Baths! In the Roman times there would have been a dome above the bath with large windows on each end filling the room with natural light. The baths were used by people as a place of relaxation, a meeting place for business, and a place to visit for the people of the upper class.

Green from algae! The original lead lining still surrounds the interior of the bath.

Courtnie didn't want to pay to get into the park so this is a photo taken from the bridge!

Courtnie wanted me to mention the flying buttresses. She was fired up about it!
