01.10.2018: Belfast, Ireland
Today Courtnie and I had a full day in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We got here by train last night from Dublin, and are staying in a very modern studio apartment in a suburban area outside of the city center. We have had nothing but great experiences with our Air B&Bs thus far so we highly recommend giving them a shot if you are doing any travelling.
This morning we went to a shopping center and looked for a few things and after that we spent the afternoon in the Titanic Museum, which was very cool! Everyone knows the fate of the Titanic but it was interesting to see how and by whom it was made! The museum had a ton of information and great photos of the creation of the Titanic and did a good job of honoring the people who perished on the ship. The exhibit was organized in chronological order from its building to the aftermath of the Titanic's sinking. The Morse Code messages were actually being played so that spectators could see the Titanic's pleas to other ships for help, which really resonated with us; that and how the band went on deck and played as the ship started to sink was also very touching.
