05.11.2018: Zurich, Switzerland

Today Case and I had a relaxing day and toured around Old Town Zürich and the main shopping district on the Bahnhofstrasse, as well as going into two of the main churches called the Fraumünster and the Grossmünster. In the later we were able to climb the bell tower to get really great panoramic views of the city and the lake.

Tomorrow we are going to go to the state archives to hopefully find some information on my Grosspapa Zweifel and his family. He emigrated from this area, so really hoping we find some information on him and our other relatives!

A plaza in Old Town

Sweet shop decked out for Christmas!

A building with the name Zum Thor on it... related to Peter Zumthor, that we're not sure

Wandering cobblestone streets with not a care in the world...

Pedestrian-only streets (for the most part)

Swiss chocolates are bar none

Looking towards old town; the largest clock face in Europe on the right!
